This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which fees may be refunded for participants of the Apex World Spell Bee. We encourage you to read this policy carefully before completing your registration payment.
Fee Structure
The participation fee for the Apex World Spell Bee is:
This fee includes enrolment processing, a preparatory booklet, and all examination costs for the initial School Level round.
Online Registration Clarification
Important: The registration form on our website is for intent registration only. No payments are collected through this website. Payment instructions will be communicated directly after your inquiry is reviewed and approved by our team.
Since no online payments are processed through our website, this refund policy applies exclusively to fees paid offline (via bank transfer, cash, or other approved methods) after your registration is confirmed.
Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be issued under the following circumstances:
- Event Cancellation: If the Apex World Spell Bee event is cancelled by us for any reason, a full refund will be processed
- Duplicate Payment: If a fee is accidentally paid twice, the duplicate amount will be refunded in full
- Pre-Event Withdrawal: If a participant withdraws at least 15 days before the scheduled School Level exam, a refund of up to 80% of the fee may be issued (₹40 retained as processing fee)
Non-Refundable Scenarios
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
- Withdrawal requests made less than 15 days before the exam date
- Failure to appear for the examination without prior notice
- Disqualification due to violation of competition rules
- Preparatory booklets already dispatched (material cost is non-recoverable)
- Change of mind after confirmation and material dispatch
Refund Process
To request a refund, follow these steps:
- Send an email to info@apexworldspellbee.online with the subject line: "Refund Request — [Student Name]"
- Include the following details: Student name, School name, Registration ID (if available), Reason for cancellation, Payment receipt or transaction reference
- Our team will review your request and respond within 7–10 business days
- If approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method within 15–20 business days
Event Postponement
In the event that the Apex World Spell Bee is postponed (not cancelled):
- Registrations will automatically carry forward to the rescheduled date
- No additional fees will be charged for the rescheduled event
- Participants who cannot attend the rescheduled date may request a refund under the standard eligibility criteria
